The route for the Half Marathon is a figure of eight, mainly off-road and approximately 13 miles long. The competition is open to individual runners and two person relay teams. The scenery is magnificent and the course is challenging as the area is mountainous. Feedback from previous years is that it is great fun, well marked and marshalled and people are keen to come back and do it again. All finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt with trophies for the overall winner and first place in each category.
