Mudwater Triathlon, Duathlon & Aquabike

Don’t let the name fool you. The water is really not that bad. Lake Afton Park is located approximately 20 minutes southwest of Wichita. From Wichita, take US Highway 54/400 west to 215th Street West (west edge of Goddard). Go south on 215th Street for three miles to MacArthur Road. Go west on MacArthur for two and a half miles to the west entrance of the park.

THE RACES AT MUDWATER (USAT Sanctioned)

DUATHLON: 5K run, 25K bike, 5K run

TRIATHLON: “Sprint” Distance – 750 m swim, 25K bike, 5K run

or “Olympic” Distance – 1500 m swim, 39K bike, 10K run

Races will start at 7:00 am

AQUABIKE: “Olympic” Distance – 1500 m swim, 25K bike
