LL Bean Flannel 5k - Brookfield

The race starts in the Eble Park Ice Arena parking lot. The course follows North Janacek Road to Briar Ridge and Timberline. Mile one is gently rolling uphill with an elevation gain of only 50 feet. A little after one mile you will travel back onto Briar Ridge Drive which has a very 1/10th mile short but manageable uphill section, immediately followed by a nice downhill. The next ¾ mile is basically easy and flat. You will climb again on Mary lane but it is only a 50 foot uphill net gain till you get back to Briar Ridge drive and a gradual downhill back to the Eble Park Ice Arena finish.

We'll have pizza, bananas, and drinks for you, but as if that wasn't awesome enough, we'll also be giving away L.L.Bean gift certificates (ranging from $25 to $100) to randomly-selected runners!
